Deputy Director of China Geological Survey (CGS) Mr. Wang Yan met with the delegation of Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) headed by Dr. Bjørn Kaare Jensen, Deputy Director of GEUS, in CGS’s headquarter. Both sides renewed the MOU for geoscience cooperation between CGS and GEUS. 

Mr. Wang made a brief introduction of CGS to the GEUS delegation, and stated that the geological survey institutions of the two countries had made highly effective cooperation on groundwater monitoring. He also expected both sides promote it and explore new fields under the MOU. Dr. Jensen completely agreed with Mr. Wang and invited CGS to send a delegation to visit GEUS at proper time for further cooperation. After the meeting, the GEUS delegation paid a visit to the exhibition hall of CGS.

Relevant representatives of Department of Hydrogeology and Environment, Department of Sci-Tech and Foreign Affairs and Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology Survey Center under CGS were present at the meeting.
