Vice minister for geological survey of MLR, director of China Geological Survey Zhong Ziran met with  the Uzbekistan delegation led by Chairman of Geology and Mineral Resources Committee of Uzbekistan ИлхомбойБекчановичТурамуратов. Consensus was established in geological field between the two parties.

Zhong Ziran extended his warm welcome to the delegation,and briefed the visitors the achievements China Geological Survey has made in terms of fundamental geological survey, energy and resources exploration, geological environment and geohazard investigation, marine geological survey.

For better implementing the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Ministry of Land and Resources of China and Geology and Mineral Resources Committee of Uzbekistan, Zhong Ziran put forward several proposals. The first is hoping that Geology and Mineral Resources Committee of Uzbekistan and the organizations affiliated to it will participate in the activities organized by GeoscientificCooperative Research Center of Shanghai Cooperation Organization; the second is to launch the joint studies in the field of mineralresources and geological environment of Central Asia metallogenic belt to serve the economic development of “Silk Road Economic Belt”; the third is to start the joint research on geology and geological Environment and geohazard prevention and control technology; the forth is to strengthen personnel communication and training.
　　

ИлхомбойБекчановичТурамуратов expressed his heartfelt thanks to China Geological Survey for the warm reception and his willingness to conduct comprehensive cooperation in terms of geology,mineral resources,environment, and exploration technology under the framework of the memorandum signed by both parties.
